Birthright Israel Foundation Hosts Alum Eden Cohen in Philadelphia

On Monday, November 28, 2022 Birthright Israel Foundation hosted our annual Philadelphia Regional event at Lilah. The evening featured remarks from Birthright Israel alums Eden Cohen and Jeffrey Green.

Eden, a native of Pennslyvania, shared how her 2009 trip forever changed her life and career. Today, Eden is the founder of A Wider Frame and senior advisor to Israel's Antisemitism Envoy, Noa Tishby. While Jeffrey Green is an excellent example of a local alum paying it forward and helping to ensure the trip is available for his peers.

Their stories and experiences could not have been possible without the support of Birthright Israel Foundation donors and the Philadelphia community.

As we look to 2023 and beyond, we are projecting that, for the first time in many years, we will not be able to meet the demand for trips, and we will have waiting lists. Due to inflation and increased land and air costs, the cost to send one participant on a Birthright Israel trip is now $4,500.
