Now, as residents return, Birthright Israel volunteers are working beside them to restore shared spaces and bring back the warmth and rhythm of home. The kibbutz, once alive with families and laughter, is coming back to life.

The space invites people to sit, share stories, and rekindle the warmth of community.
At the homecoming celebration, every returning family received a planter box stamped with the Birthright Israel logo, ready to be filled with soil and flowers.
More than 17,000 volunteers—including thousands of Birthright Israel Classic, Onward, and Excel alumni—have come to Israel to help rebuild struggling communities. Together, they are part of more than 50,000 participants who have joined Birthright Israel programs since October 7th. These volunteer projects are about planting hope, restoring belonging, and showing Israelis that the global Jewish family stands with them—today and always.
