Event Highlights: A Beautiful Summer Evening in the Hamptons

We kicked off the start of our events season on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the home of Mindy and Ron Horowitz in the Hamptons. Nearly 100 guests joined us to enjoy the summer sun and celebrate the magic of Birthright Israel. We had the pleasure of hearing remarks from Birthright Israel Alumni Jamie Schulman and Benji Sklar.

Jamie, a New York City Young Leadership Council member, shared the impact her Birthright Israel experience has had on her life as well as the importance of being the third generation in her family to support Birthright Israel Foundation. Benji, a Birthright Israel Excel alumnus explained how his Birthright Israel trip created a powerful connection to Israel and the Jewish community, which ultimately led to him becoming a paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces. We ended the evening with special remarks from longtime supporter, Birthright Israel parent and Long Island Leadership Cabinet member, Steven Shenfeld.
