Palm Beach Celebrates Birthright Israel and the Jewish Future
On March 23, Birthright Israel Foundation brought together more than 150 supporters at the Norton Museum of Art's Great Lawn for its annual Palm Beach event, an inspiring night of community, conversation, and commitment to the next generation.
Honorary Chairs Rita and Charles Bronfman and Co-Chairs Susan and Ronnie Pertnoy showed guests what 27 years of visionary philanthropy can build. National Board Chairman Michael Rashes and Birthright Israel Foundation President & CEO Elias Saratovsky were joined by National Board Members Mindy Schneider, Andy Lucas, Lori Komisar, Barry Swidler, and Sara Aronson. Community partners Michael Hoffman and Barry Berg of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, and venue champion Bruce Gendelman of the Norton Museum of Art, rounded out a remarkable room.
Former Auburn Head Coach Bruce Pearl, in conversation with Birthright Israel alumna Sarah Cohen, spoke passionately about the urgent need to support Birthright Israel and instill Jewish pride, identity and resilience in a new generation of Jewish leaders.
