An Evening of Support in Cleveland for Birthright Israel Foundation

On June 15, 2023, Birthright Israel parents and donors Betsy and David Krantz hosted our first-ever event in Cleveland, OH, at their home. Betsy and David rallied the Cleveland community in support of Birthright Israel Foundation and, through their generosity, showed how crucial the program is to the next generation. The evening featured welcoming remarks from Betsy Krantz, who shared how the trip played a role in the lives of her three children, Drew, Tyler, and Spencer, who all went on a 10-day trip together.

Betsy was then joined by Ariel Weiss, Regional Director, Midwest, who gave an important program update and stressed the incredible partnership and support of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Spencer Krantz then spoke about how the Israelis on his trip shifted his perspective of Israel and how having this shared experience bonded them together. Following Spencer, local Cleveland alum Katie Spector and Alum Ambassador Jenna Barricklo shared how the program forever impacted their personal lives and careers.
