On October 22, 2025, more than 130 supporters, alumni, and community leaders gathered at Lincoln Financial Field to celebrate 25 years of Birthright Israel and the profound impact this life-changing program continues to have on young Jews and the Jewish future.
Hosted in the Firstrust Bank Club, generously donated by the Green Family, the evening captured the spirit of Philadelphia’s deep commitment to Birthright Israel Foundation. Co-Chairs Sharyn Berman and Susan Schwartz opened the program with gratitude and reflection, honoring the return of the hostages and reaffirming their belief that investing in Birthright Israel is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen Jewish identity, pride, and resilience.
Guests were treated to an inspiring program that wove together music, storytelling, and calls to action. The crowd waved Israeli flags as actor, singer, and Birthright Israel alumnus James Maslow premiered his new music video “On My Mind,” a moving tribute to Israel’s beauty and resilience.
The program also included a warm video message from National Board Member Margie Honickman, who celebrated the Philadelphia community’s leadership and introduced the evening’s honoree, Birthright Israel alumnus and Philadelphia Regional Cabinet member Jeffrey Green, whose journey reflects the power of one experience to spark a lifetime of connection and Jewish leadership. In his remarks, Jeffrey shared how his Birthright Israel trip inspired him to take action, rather than stand by.
Following Jeffrey’s recognition, Birthright Israel Foundation President & CEO Elias Saratovsky shared his gratitude for the community’s partnership and commitment, and Susanna Lachs Adler closed the program with a moving call to action. She reminded guests that Birthright Israel’s mission — to inspire, empower, and unite young Jews — has never been more urgent.
The celebration concluded with dessert and behind-the-scenes stadium tours, as guests departed inspired by the strength of community and the enduring promise of the Jewish future.
